Overview
The ship and crew were amazing. Always a smile and greeting.
The route and geography were as expected. We did a previous trip across Austria and found that the route maps, descriptors and daily briefing far more detailed and extensive than on this trip. Maps and daily briefings lacked detail of important information.
Also the slide deck that was used added little that we didn’t already have.
Unfortunately the location of the presentation was not suitable for a projector and most slides were not visible to the audience. Attendance fell off significantly as each day progressed. Far more effort needs to be placed on presenting significant information on the days route, like it was on the Austria trip such as significant landmarks when the route wasn't clearly marked for navigation. Simple things like distances on the map and more fulsome descriptors of places and things along the way.
