From Paris to Le Mont St Michel against the wind
This is a fun trip, using minor roads, cycle tracks and old railway lines. It passes several places of interest, especially nice churches and chateaux. There are good views of the rolling countryside. There are several short climbs and some rough sections. It is a route of contrasts, from Paris to the farmland of Normandy, and in country away from the tourist hotspots - though Paris, Versailles, Chartres and Mont St Michel are always busy! It is worth noting that the prevailing winds are against the direction of travel.
