Day 2: Corfu and Paxos Island, approx. 7 km

After breakfast we cast off and cruise to the olive island of Paxos. Paxos is the smallest of the seven Ionian Islands with a higher population of olive trees then people – 32 km² are home to over 250,000 olive trees! They cover the island in a wonderful silver green shimmer. The natural harbor of Gaios is unique and provides a special atmosphere during our stay here. In the afternoon, we take a short bike ride along the coast to Kaki Lagkada beach, where you can swim in the crystal clear Ionian Sea. The evening can be spent relaxing in a local tavern in Gaios.

Day 3: Paxos and Lefkas Island, approx. 8 km

In the morning we cruise to Lefkas Island, Lefkas City, but before arriving we anchor near Antipaxos for a swim stop from the boat. After a long cruise we reach a narrow channel with an original swing bridge which connects the Greek mainland with the island. From Lefkas City we start our tour around the lagoon and can enjoy a second swim at the white sand beach, Agios Ioannis. After returning to the boat, we navigate our way to Nidri where we will spend the evening and the night.

Day 4: Lefkas and Cephalonia Island, approx.10 km

In the morning we ride from Nidri through olive groves to a nearby waterfall. If we are lucky, a steady stream of water will enable us to take a refreshing swim. Following the excursion we make our way to Fiskardo on the island of Cephalonia. This port, located at the northern tip of the island, delights us with its colourful little houses and many cafes and bars along the picturesque harbour promenade. An evening walk of approx. 30 minutes takes us to a pretty lighthouse. Overnight in Fiskardo.

Day 5: Cephalonia and Meganisi Island, approx. 15 km

After a short crossing by boat we reach the harbour of Sami. Today’s bike tour starts here and leads us along the coastline to the enchanting Melissani Cave; accessible only by row boat. A visit to a donkey farm, knowledge and fun at the same time for all ages, is next on the agenda before the tour takes us back to the boat. The boat meets us in Sami and takes us for a well-deserved swim break! Our journey then takes us further to Meganisi, a charming island where we spend the night.

Day 6: Meganisi Island – Arillas, approx. 6 km

After breakfast we have the chance to explore Meganisi on our bike. Afterwards a long crossing will take us to Arillas, an idyllic and peaceful place along west coast of Greece, close to Perdika on the Greek mainland. A stroll along the sandy beach or a swim around Panagiota (the boat) rounds off the day. We spend the night in Arillas.

Day 7: Arillas – Corfu Island, approx. 12 km

In the morning our bike tour leads us along remote streets under the shade of old olive trees through a national park and along a little river until we reach the monastery of Agios Athanasios, which we visit. The Panagiota awaits us for our last crossing back to Corfu. Here we can enjoy a celebratory evening meal before reflecting on our wonderful adventures of the week.

Day 8: Corfu Island (Disembarkation)

After breakfast, check-out, collective transfer to the airport on request and individual return home, or holiday extension on the island of Corfu.

Welcome aboard the comfort boat PANAGIOTA!

The Panagiota, our boat in Greece, is an affectionately restored two masted motor yacht, which is 23 ft. (7m) wide and 75 ft. (23m) long. It was built in 1990 and modernized in 2001 in conformity with the requirements of cruises. When the weather conditions are fine the guests can have the meals outside on the shaded rear deck instead of eating in the spacious saloon. The sun deck, equipped with cozy mats, invites to have a sun bath and to relax. Captain Gerasimos is very proud to present his boat, his crew and his chef, whom creates a wide variety of very delicious Greek food.

    Cabins/Facilities

    Lower deck: 6 cabins
    Upper deck: 4 cabin

All cabins are air-conditioned and equipped with a double bed (4,6 ft. wide) and in some cabins there is also one single bunk bed located above the double bed. To each cabin belongs a private shower and toilet. Below deck cabins have a porthole to provide air, if air-condition is switched off.

    Catering

The cook on board is a member of the crew and prepares the breakfast and one or two warm meals a day. The catering starts with the dinner on the arrival day and ends with the breakfast on the departure day.

    WIFI

The Panagiota does not offer a WiFi connection. If you need to connect to the internet during the tour, we recommend to take your portable electronic device to a cafe or bar somewhere in the harbour. Free WiFi is on offer almost everywhere. If you order something to eat or drink, then you are able to use the WiFi to your hearts content.
