The cycle tour in northern Zealand takes you to the most beautiful places in this Danish region. Along impressive fjords and coasts and past extensive fields, this tour has everything to offer for nature lovers. Follow in the footsteps of the Vikings in Roskilde or pay a visit to the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen - because a stopover in the Danish capital is also on the program! Here you can enjoy exploring one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world before returning to your starting point in Køge.
Mostly flat and paved paths, some light uphill stretches, few unpaved natural paths and less traffic side roads.
Individual arrival in Køge. Here you will find extensive sandy beaches, a medieval old town and the oldest town hall in Denmark!
Today you will travel through the green south of Zealand to Næstved, one of the oldest towns in the country. Visit Gavnø Castle with its impressive castle park, which is home to more than half a million flower bulbs. In the Naestved area, you can also visit Bonbon Land and a glass hut.
The tour continues northwest through the Great Belt. Here you will be accompanied by beautiful beaches and dune landscapes all the way to the village of Karrebæksminde. Explore the many small restaurants and cafés or pay a visit to the fishing and town museum before you head inland to todays stage destination.
Today you cycle to the coasts and fjords around Roskilde. First you cycle to Isefjord and then on to Roskildefjord. Roskilde Cathedral is the burial place of many Danish kings and queens. Following in the footsteps of the Vikings, you can row and sail across the fjord from the harbor on replicas of the old Viking ships.
Today’s stage takes you to the Danish capital. Copenhagen is a pocket-sized cosmopolitan city, which means you can reach all the interesting corners of the city within a short distance by bike, bus or often on foot.
Today belongs to Copenhagen and its sights. Discover the Danish capital by bike, which is the number one means of transportation here. Copenhagen has an excellent network of cycle paths. If you don’t want to cycle, take a stroll to Nyhavn to the Little Mermaid and walk along the Stroget shopping street or visit the legendary Tivoli amusement park.
Today you cycle south along the beaches of Copenhagen and leisurely back to the starting point of your cycle tour - to Køge, where you return the rental bikes to the hotel in the afternoon.

With an e-bike every bike tour is a breeze! If you had few opportunities to cycle over the last weeks or if you are not sure concerning your fitness, every bike ride is a treat! The shiftable, low noise electric drive of our modern e-bike relieves you of some of the work and increases the pedal force up to 3 times ... So you can now book a bike tour together with cyclists who have different fitness level. Acclivity can be handled easily. The maximun total weight is 130 kg, frame sizes are available from 46 to 60.

From Copenhagen airport to Köge Station by bus or train. (approx. 40 min, approx. € 10,- per person).
Train Station: Köge
From Berlin to Hamburg, from Hamburg by ICE to Copenhagen incl. ferry ride Puttgarden - Rødby (travel time approx. 5 hours, NO bike transport possible, advance reservation required!)
By regional express to Flensburg and change to the Danish Intercity to Copenhagen (travel time approx. 6 hours, bicycle transport possible!).
Take advantage of the free parking facilities in Køge at your hotel, subject to availability, or on the free parking area not far from the train station.
